Shibuya Crossing is rumored to be the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing, with as many as 250,000 people using it in a single day. With appearances in movies, as well as its own listing in travel guides, it has become one of Tokyo’s tourist destinations. I spent thirty minutes walking in the crosswalks while listening to a countdown timer in my earbuds. I made a single photograph every minute of this duration. The photos are displayed chronologically from left to right showing the orderly disorder of this place.
